Growing out of a desire to view a phone screen without actually holding the device, I started to craft phone stands using several exotic woods (from Africa and South America) as well as woods native to New England.

 

The stands have dual grooves where one side is a 1/2" wide groove and the other side is a 5/8" wide groove, meaning that it will be a good fit for most phones.  Some customers have used both grooves to change their viewing angle.

 

 My daughter encouraged me to open an​ Etsy shop when she assured me that other people would appreciate these.  Phone stands have been my top selling product!

 

The wood species change every few months depending on customer demand and wood availability.
